[Snowy] Tomboy sync problem

Just following up on a conversation with sandy:

 16:01 < jbl> hello all
 16:01 < jbl> I'm just giving snowy a try, and ran into a bit of a snag
 16:01 < jbl> I know it's in heavy development, so I'm not expecting a lot
16:02 < jbl> but just wanted to the the tomboy->web sync in action
16:02 < jbl> I think I got it set up correctly, as I can see the web interface, and I can log in
 16:03 <@sandy> jbl: whats wrong?
16:03 < jbl> when I try to sync with Tomboy however, it says "server not responding".  I'm using Tomboy's "Tomboy Web" service
16:03 <@sandy> you set up the Sites table as directed in INSTALL?
 16:03 < jbl> yes
16:03 <@sandy> what is in Sites, and what is in Tomboy's sync prefs?
16:03 < jbl> In fact, I had the sync working just a few weeks ago
 16:03 < jbl> Notes are in there
 16:04 < jbl> by cannot re-sync
 16:04 < jbl> Tomboy's sync prefs are "Tomboy Web", pointing to http://<ip_address>/
16:06 < jbl> I have the IP address as the domain name in "Sites"
16:07 < jbl> when I run 'python manage.py runserver <ip>',  and I attempt to connect with Tomboy, I can see the connection attempts (two GETs and one POST)
 16:08 < jbl> but the connection doesn't succeed
16:08 <@sandy> sorry, was on phone
 16:08  * sandy catches up
16:09 <@sandy> jbl: some things to check:
 16:09 <@sandy> actually
16:09 <@sandy> just one thing comes to mind
 16:09 <@sandy> remove the trailing "/" in Tomboy's prefs
 16:09 <@sandy> that could make a difference
16:09 < jbl> seems to be the same
16:10 < jbl> when the connection attempt is made, I see the following:
 16:10 < jbl> "GET /api/1.0 HTTP/1.0" 301 0
 16:10 < jbl> "GET /api/1.0/ HTTP/1.0" 200 249
 16:10 < jbl> "POST /oauth/request_token/ HTTP/1.0" 401 98
16:11 <@sandy> what version of Tomboy are you using?
 16:11 < jbl> 1.0.1
16:11 <@sandy> hmm, that should work fine
16:11 <@sandy> sorry, I have to go get lunch, so I won't be able to help debug right now
16:11 < jbl> had to compile it myself, as my distro/version didn't have a package
16:11 <@sandy> but you could take this to snowy-list and I could follow up with you later
16:12 < jbl> thats kind of you, thanks
 16:12 < jbl> I'll just post this discussion
 16:12 <@sandy> sounds good
