Hi,

I wanted to make the edit title window edit field bigger. I remember I
actually posted a patch for that that got accepted into shotwell six
years ago, it was this change:
https://github.com/GNOME/shotwell/commit/aaef7f7d6d77e6476216320510935ea0eca1b6b6
Why was it reverted? The size of the title windows is really small
now, it is impractical if you want to write a sentence.
I would actually prefer a field that would allow a paragraph - I use
it mainly to push commets to Facebook and sometimes I want to write a
little story relating to the photo. I know "comments" are supposed to
do that, but I have sticked with titles for too long now ot change
that (and I am not sure if comments get pushed to Facebook in the
same way as titles?).

I don't know TBH, that predates my involvement. It was done with commit
https://github.com/GNOME/shotwell/commit/31bb622d5f2444cfb0ac4301af17dcb4c79b9da2
which references https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=742326
I see. Hm, I think it is rather impractical - Already titles like "Me standing on the top of Kilimanjaro" don't fit. That was actually the reason for accepting the change back then - though I admit the size 350,104 is rather arbitrary.

Anyway, I tried to bring the change back on current master and it worked (in practice, I actually changed the "Edit title" to be a MultiTextEntryDialog, but I guess it is just me specific change).
