Trying to compile on Debian and 
      autoreconf --verbose --install
I get
      configure.ac:146: error: macro APPDATA_XML is not defined; is a
m4 file missing?

But AFAIS the build-deps are installed. What package is shipping this
macro?


That's a new build dependency. Please Install appstream-util  (though I
should probably add the m4 file to git)
