Hi Jim,
Always had some issues with the translation to my native Danish language. Looking into the
shotwell.master.da.po file, I noticed a few things.
First of all; has the translations been exported correctly from Transiflex with regards to non-ASCII
characters? I will give an example:
#: ../src/Resources.vala:181
msgid "Red-eye"
msgstr "Rødøje"
The msgstr should be "Rødøje" (the non-ASCII character is o-slash).
Anyway, my real concern is a number of wrong translations and terminology in the Danish translation that
impact the UI and even confuses/misleads users as to which button does what. This is most glaringly visible
in the imageviewer/editor (buttons for Rotate, Crop, Straighten, Red Eye, Adjust, Enhance) but also some menu
items and messages need an overhaul.
How do I help you guys out on this?
Dennis
