Seahorse [FreeBSD] No passphrase prompts

Hi, there,

I find Seahorse unusable on my system (see below), but it seems like a
superficial bug maybe not even related to Seahorse.

Here's my system:

$ pkg query %n%v seahorse

Here's my problem:

a) I cannot manage PGP keys

    No dialog appears asking for passphrase, when trying to change
passphrase, sign keys, or change photos. Interestingly enough, on Ubuntu
16.x, the passphrase dialog appears AFTER an error message. In my case,
a "General Error" message is displayed for signing and photo adding, but
no error is displayed when clicking the "Change passphrase" button.

b) SSH authentication with git(hub) doesn't seem to work, doesn't ask
for passphrase.

c) Cannot import FreeBSD maintainers keys, due to "Import failed: failed
to execute child process 'gpg' (No such file or directory)"
