Hi!
I currently try to debug an issue with gnome-screensaver. When the
idle-notification state changes, the fade-out procedure kicks in but I
often cannot interrupt it anymore and have to wait the next few
seconds to unlock. Additional info here:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=612620
The bug also got reported in gnome's bugzilla:
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=625374
I placed breakpoints on watcher_idle_notice_cb which are not hit when
the bug appears. The signals should be connected as I encountered no
calls to disconnect_watcher_signals. Randomly poking around in
gs-watcher-x11.c showed no further hints.
Somehow it feels like a heisenbug which happens very frequently. Does
someone has an advice how to proceed?
hannes
