on FreeBSD 1.5.26
on CentOS  1.5.22

There are copyies of install-sh in the libtool, autoconf,
and automake share directories.  

Given that this is only and issue for building from svn, having
autogen.sh check for install-sh and instruct the user to install
it would be acceptable.
