Sorry this is again a bit OT...

One thing which for some reason is not working is xmodmap in my
.xinitrc (works fine in RH7.3):

xmodmap ~/xmodmap-kbd-fix
export WINDOW_MANAGER=sawfish
exec gnome-session

(Note that I disabled X login, and run startx manually.)

xmodmap-kbd-fix swaps capslock with Lcontrol.  This works if I
type "xmodmap ~/xmodmap-kbd-fix" manually in an xterm after the X
server is up.
