This is not even a library but, most likely, a "leftover" from
libtool used while building libgmp.  Why is wanted here it
difficult to guess.  It should be a short text file.

Add '-v' to compilation flags and then you should have a record
what your compiler/linker is trying to find out, where, and hopefuly
why.
