[sabayon] desktop icons for application launchers not executable on profile

Hey all,

I have 5 icons on a Sabayon profile that are .desktop application launcher files.

When I create the files they have 0755 permissions and are working fine. But as soon as either I close and reopen the profile editor or login as a user with the profile applied, the permissions get set to 0644.

Is there someway for me to change something that will restore the permissions correctly for these files?
