I'm not sure exactly what the problem is. Older sabayon versions had
trouble running on a remote X display, but this checkin:

	* lib/protosession.py:
	Generate our own cookie instead of reusing the one from the
	parent display. (#318810)
	
	* lib/util.py:
	Add function to generate random strings

Which is in the 2.12.1 release should fix this.
