Whenever the controlling instance (i.e. the media player, TV, ...)
thinks the transcoded resource for FLAC or WAV is more fitting to the
renderer than the original one. Rygel cannot decide this.

What do you mean? Having the same resource streamed to several ips?
yes. Having them synchronized no(t yet).

There is no such thing. What exactly are you looking for?
