if my gst version is 0.10.36.
then can I use rygel 0.20 directly?
Rygel migrated to GStreamer 1.x about six months ago. So if you want
to use the latest version of Rygel and the latest plugins, you need
GST 1.X. Having said that, there are some out of tree Rygel plugins
that use GStreamer 0.10.x.
https://git.gnome.org/browse/rygel-gst-0-10-fullscreen-renderer/
https://git.gnome.org/browse/rygel-gst-0-10-media-engine/
https://git.gnome.org/browse/rygel-gst-0-10-plugins/
So it might be possible for you to get things to work by building
GUPnP-DLNA with GStreamer 0.10.x
(--enable-legacy-gstreamer-metadata-backend), rygel without any
plugins and then compiling and installing the plugins listed above.
However, a note of warning. The plugins listed above are not
maintained AFAIK, and they may not compile with the latest version of
Rygel. You might need to modify them to get them to work.
Whoops, I knew I forgot something...
