Hello,
I have detected a couple of issues.
The first one is regarding to file extensions: if change the file's
extension from .ts to .mpeg or .mpg, Rygel no longer exports the DLNA
streams for the MPEG_TS_SD_EU_ISO and MPEG_TS_HD_NA_ISO profiles. Is not
gupnp-dlna intended to solve this by obtaining extra data with
gst-convenience and not depending on file extensions?
I attach an file (ext.txt) with the DIDL-descriptions for each file
extension.
Second issue is about transcoding: if i serve a MPEG-TS with H.264 video
(Main L3 1) and AAC LC audio, I might get for:
- MPEG_TS_SD_EU_ISO a MPEG-TS with H.262 (MP HL) video and MPEG1
L1/MPEG1 L2/MPEG2 L2/AC3 audio.
- MPEG_TS_HD_NA_ISO a MPEG-TS with H.26 (MP HL) video and AC-3 audio.
but I get no transcoding at all:
- MPEG_TS_SD_EU_ISO a MPEG-TS with H.264 video (Main L3 1) and AAC LC
audio
- MPEG_TS_HD_NA_ISO a MPEG-TS with H.264 video (Main L3 1) and AAC LC
audio
Am I wrong understanding the DLNA specs or is Rygel skipping the DLNA
formats?
Thanks in advance,
Daniel.
