Hi,
I've not found another email adress where put this, so forgive me.
I only wanted to say that I find extremely unfair dumpin out Rhythmbox
from Ubunt and replacing it for a big-bloated slow mono app like
banshee, with no remarcable features over Rhythmbox.
Please, keep the great work!!!!
Ubuntu 11.XX = sudo apt-get remove banshee&& apt-get install rhythmbox

While Ubuntu may be the most popular Linux distribution on it's own, I'm
pretty sure that the users of Fedora, OpenSUSE, Slackware, PCLinuxOS,
Arch Linux (me!), and so on have much, much more than the users that
Ubuntu alone has. I haven't used Ubuntu in almost a year (and for good
reasons but that's besides the point), and I'm pretty sure that there
are people "jumping ship" all the time from changes like this.
Whether or not Rhythmbox is the default application in Ubuntu, this
seems pretty fine to me. The people that still use Rhythmbox will most
likely switch back (and why wouldn't they? Rhythmbox is awesome!) and
the people that try out Banshee because it's the default application
might not like it and switch over to Rhythmbox (no offense to the
Banshee developers; I mean that there's always that possibility with
every music application).

PS: If Ubuntu bugs you any more with its awkward changes, you could
always test out another distribution to see if it works out better for
you, like Fedora or Linux Mint Debian Edition (or if you're adventurous,
Arch Linux is very nice if you can get it working) ;)
