The normal way would be to use your distribution's package manager. If
you're using Ubuntu, then look for the Software Centre (it's name might
be a little different--maybe Add/Remove Software). 

If you want to compile it from source, you can check it out from the git
repository. All the info you need is on git.gnome.org
