[Rhythmbox-devel] Rhythmbox 0.9.8 "Type slowly"

G'day everyone,

On behalf of the Rhythmbox developers, I'm happy to announce a new
release, Rhythmbox 0.9.8 "Type slowly", is out. This release includes
several new features such as visualisations, the ability to transfer
tracks to "generic" MP3 players (including transcoding to supported
formats) and support for the Jamendo online catalogue of free music.

What is Rhythmbox?
------------------

Rhythmbox is an integrated music management application, originally
inspired by Apple's iTunes. It is free software, designed to work well
under the GNOME Desktop, and based on the powerful GStreamer media
framework.

Dependencies
------------
No dependencies were changed for this release, with the minimum required
version of Gnome being 2.12.

Also included in this release
-----------------------------
* Better album art support. The art plugin is turned on by default,
displays art in the tray-icon tooltips and song-change notification,
and supports getting art from podcast feeds.
* Improvements to Magnatune, including being able to order audio CDs
* Support for the new Gnome 2.18 "media key" mechanism
* Several serious crasher bugs fixed
* Many other core improvements and bug fixes.
