Here's a list of supported devices: http://lirc.sourceforge.net/remotes. I have the Philips MCE remote, as described here: http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/MCE_Remote. (MythTV's wiki is a useful source for remotes/LIRC in general.)
