As a follow-up, CVS now has all the python bindings necessary to make a
art display plugin in Python.
In about 20 minutes I whipped up a dodgy art display plugin, that looks
for an image called "folder.jpg" in the same directory as the playing
track. Patch is attached to
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=307848, and a screenshot is at
http://www.flickr.com/photos/doctau/120145687/.
If you (or anyone else) want to take this and do Amazon lookup, art
management, and all the other cool stuff, please go ahead - everyone
will love you for it.
Cheers,
James "Doc" Livingston
