The podcast and audioscrobbler patches are pretty well along, both of
which have been posted to the ML.

I would like to see a revival of the Album Cover patch that was on
some Arch branch somewhere.
Has anybody ported it over to the new RB ?

The latest version is attached to bug 307848[0], but it's over two
months old - so it will need to be updated to apply to cvs.

I think there are some things that would need to be sorted out before it
could be committed to cvs, including:

* support using art from in tags, particularly useful for photo ipods.
* support a source specifying a piece of art for particular entries,
e.g. for podcasts, or radio stations

I agree with the using album art from tags, many applications upport storing it there (easytag for one). I have "some" experiance with this (read: python script to insert the album art from amazon) and would be willing to help out/hack on this patch, however, having never hacked on rhythmbox really, and being a year or 2 since i even touched C/C++ i would probibly need some help. anyone have any starting points/tips etc?

Cheers,
