Please put a subject line in your mails.

The problem is most likely the xml menu definition file not being
installed properly. Check that you have
a /usr/share/rhythmbox/rhythmbox-ui.xml (or at least
$(prefix)/share/rhythmbox/rhythmbox-ui.xml). Also check for error
messages on the command-line.
