I think there is already code supposed to do that, it's probably not
working perfectly well, the only thing to do is to track it down ;)

There's an experimental gda backend in the rhythmbox 0.9 branch (don't
remember if it's there in 0.8 branches), I wouldn't be surprised if it
was broken, but you can try to play with it if you are interested in it.
