That's caused by a change in pkg-config 0.16;
rhythmbox--bugs--0.9--patch-7 in my archive fixes it.
Or you could just enable iPod support, which should work around it.

Yes, you have to compile this yourself. nautilus-cd-burner from CVS
won't compile on Debian due to some gnome-vfs changes (or it didn't last
time I tried), but any of the current releases should work.
