[Rhythmbox-devel] Reload Library Function

Is it possible to have a list of directories that RhythmBox maintains
in a user file or within the RhythmBox preferences so that a "refresh"
would yield new discoveries?

For instance under preferences there would be a section called
"Library Directories" which would hold the user defined directories
where content is to be stored and upon opening the program RhythmBox
it would re-scan those directories for new content to add to the
database/list of files in the Library. This function to re-scan could
also be called upon at any time by a button or hotkey defined by the
user.
