I copied the iPod code, which polls every second for the presence of
the database file on the device, which has to be mounted at a certain
location.
Extremely hacky, but I just wanted to get something working quickly.

Ok, I'm just working off 0.8.4 for the moment.

Not yet, I'll send a patch when I've got transferring files to the
device working.
