[Rhythmbox-devel] Strange problem with 0.6.4 and xine

Linux kernel 2.6.1, Alsa with OSS emulation enabled.

When playing an mp3, nothing is heard and after 20 seconds or so in the 
song, it automatically jumps to the next song... this happens even if 
you pause a song currently "playing". Audio does work because I can 
watch mpgs and whatever with gxine.

Any ideas as to what could be causing this to happen?
