[Rhythmbox-devel] library and playback problem

Hi all

After upgrading from 0.5.2 to 0.5.3 most music files (most mp3, some
ogg) in my library are assumed by Rhythmbox to be of length zero. It
also says that the bitrate is zero. When trying to play them back I get
one of two errors:

Could not find the media type.

or

osscommon: Unable to open /dev/dsp (in use ?)

and on the command line:

(rhythmbox:1381): GStreamer-CRITICAL **: file gstscheduler.c: line 179
(gst_scheduler_pad_unlink): assertion `GST_IS_SCHEDULER (sched)' failed
 

What is happening here? Can I rebuild the library? There is no
.rhythmbox file or similar and no options to remove locations.

Please, help me making use of this nice application...
