Hello,
I am new to rhythmbox. Using gstreamer 0.6.3, and rhythmbox 0.6.0 on Fedora core 1. System is a celeron 366 with 192M ram. My default sink is "osssink sync=false", but i experience the same result if I use artsdsink or esdsink. The problem I am experiencing is when playing back mp3s, I get at least 2 or 3 skips per song. The mp3s reside on a mounted usb hard drive using usb1.1. Using zinf or xmms, I do not experience any playback issues. My question is, is there any way of increasing the buffer size? or is there some other way of solving this? I was thinking of upgrading to usb2.0, but i don't want to upgrade if it's not going to solve the problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Andrew Baerg
