after running gst-register-0.7 as root and user, rb 0.6.0 still gave
segfauls and the UI was very unstable.

removing gstreamer/gst-plugins-0.7.1 and recompiling rb 0.6.0 against
gstreamer-0.6.4 has returned a stable and useful rhythmbox.

sorry for the uneeded emails, but suffice it to say that 0.6.0 does not
play nicely with gstreamer-0.7.1. YMMV
