[Rhythmbox-devel] dependencies for release

AFAIK the deps for installing rhythmbox/mm for the first time are :
1. libmad
2. musicbrainz
3. gstreamer
4. gst-plugins

To make the release smoother I think that we should try to make a list
of where to get various types or packages (rpm/deb/tar) of each for
various distros.

I'm running Redhat 8.0 now so I'm going to do my best to put together
some rpms. I've recompiled libmad already from src.rpms, will do the
same for musicbrainz tonight.

As for gstreamer, are there any redhat 8.0 rpms? they aren't on sf but
i'm guessing that i can find them in the apt repository. will look
tonight..

I can also make up some mm and rb redhat 8.0 rpms when the time comes.

I can put together a list of ebuilds for gentoo users to install

Mandrake users can get gstreamer out of the cooker - we can just link to
their packages for gstreamer at least. libmad comes with the distro.
musicbrainz may need rebuilding.
