[Rhythmbox-devel] sorting

So when I first start rb, and I load my library into it, everything loads up
and appears to be ok.  then i quit rb, and restart it.  all the songs are
there, but the order of them in the browser is not alphabetical... then when i
click on the "Artist" column to sort by artist, it sorts them in tune with the
unalphabetized browser list, and not in alphabetic order.  

any ideas why?
