Maps: Hard code freeze break required?

Hi,

Does this constitute a build fix or do I need an exception? And it that case,
can I get one?

The issue is symbolic icons not added in a way that re-coloring needs.
So they do not get the right color in the dark theme.

I will do the 3.14 release today I think, with or without this.
It could go into the stable branch later if you think it is a to intrusive fix.

Patch just uploaded to the bug.
