Hi everybody,
Hi,
On the wiki you can find a update of the status of the feature at June
18 [5].
Finally, a patch [1] for this feature has been approved by Jasper [2],
gnome-shell reviewer. It was also tested by Alejandro Piñeiro [3] and
reviewed by Joseph Scheuhammer [4], from the accessibility team (Joseph
was the one that wrote the magnifier). In parallel with Magdalen working
on the feature, the accessibility team and gnome-shell developers
(specifically Jasper), were really careful about not adding any
regression with the usage of at-spi on gnome-shell. Some bugs were
solved [7], and improvements on at-spi2-core were made [8][9][10].
In conclusion the new feature is ready, and patch associated carefully
reviewed and tested by different people.
With this email I'm asking the approval to push the patch approved at
bugzilla.
Best regards
