UI freeze break request for gnome-shell

Hello release team,

I'm requesting a UI freeze break for the following bug:
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=682285
(only the two patches marked accepted-commit_now are significant, the
rest are dubious code cleanups)

The scope of the bug is to replace the arrow handle in the screen lock
curtain with an animation that makes it clear the curtain is meant to
be lifted up with a mouse or touch gesture.

(The second screenshot is hopefully usable as-is for release notes and
documentation, as taking it required careful timing and a good amount
of luck)
