Freeze break request for gnome-shell

Hey,

I'd like to request a freeze break for the following bug:

A recent commit broke menu items under certain circumstances when run in
an RTL locale - a known case is the user's name in the user menu, which
does not show up at all in RTL locales. The fix is small and low-risk,
and fixes a very visible problem for some users.
