Hi,
We have a high visibility bug in gnome-packagekit that results in the
WM_CLASS being used as the application name. A name like
"gpk-dbus-service" appears in the top bar of GNOME 3 when you try to
install software. This makes things look pretty broken. And is high
visibility since most people will want to install software at some
point.
The bug is https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=645281
There are other important string fixes in there as well so ensure that
the application name makes sense.
I think it is really important to fix this for 3.0. May we?
Thanks,
Jon
