Summary: ftpadmin script does't accept anjuta-extras release
tarballs
Classification: Infrastructure
Product: sysadmin
Version: unspecified
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: Normal
Component: Other
AssignedTo: sysadmin-maint gnome bugs
ReportedBy: jrliggett cox net
QAContact: sysadmin-maint gnome bugs
GNOME version: ---
When trying to make the anjuta-extras 3.1.2 release yesterday, I couldn't get
the ftpadmin script to accept my tarballs.
If I invoke ftpadmin like this:
ftpadmin install anjuta-extras-3.1.2.tar.xz
I get this error message:
Gathering information and sorting on version: ., done
Preparing installation of anjuta-extras-3.1.2.tar.xz:
- Checking consistency: .........., failed
ERROR: Files should all be in one directory (anjuta-extras-3.1.2/)
I get the same error for tar.bz2 files as well. The problem is that, in both
tarballs, the files in them *are* in one directory named anjuta-extras-3.1.2.
I'm really not sure if I'm just doing it wrong or there's a bug.
