Hi Release Team!
Was a final decision ever made on how applications will be categorized
in the GNOME desktop / release set?
One of the reasons I ask, is that for GNOME 2.32 the release notes[1]
are a little light on content. One idea I had is we could talk about
other applications that are not technically in the Desktop set, for
example, the work Banshee has done to integrate Amazon MP3 support. I'd
appreciate some feedback on whether that's a good idea or not. If it
is, are there any apps I should think about including that come to mind?
I could also use some help - if there is any new that is not yet
included in the release notes, could you please poke a developer to add
it to the wiki page or point me to them? I could also use some help in
what we want to say about 3.0 next March.
Thanks.
Paul
