Hi release-team,
I want to request an hard code freeze break for Empathy, specifically
for this bug:
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=594997
Empathy has already been branched for gnome-2-28, so the fix has already
been committed to GIT master and has seen testing from myself and other
Empathy developers.
In addition to this, we also would like to commit a simple patch that
avoids an unwanted g_free ().
We have gathered all these patches in a separate branch [1], which is
called gnome-2-28-candidate, which we would like to merge with the
gnome-2-28 branch before the 2.28.0 release.

Cheers,
Cosimo
