Hi,
The following command line removes the package with all the config files, says the ubuntu documentation :
sudo apt-get autoremove --purge <package(s)>
You should try it and tell us if it succeeded.
If not, I think it is not be a planner problem.

I am not sure what happened but I was working in Planner when it suddenly went oversized and I can't get it back to normal. Planner window is oversized in width at both maximised and windowed options. In windowed mode it cannot be shrunk in width to fit the screen, only widened which is worse obviously. When I click on an option from the top the one next to it is activated so its pretty much unusable. I have tried uninstalling it completely using Synaptic and reinstalling it after a restart but there are obviously files or settings that remain which get picked up and used when installed again. Can someone help with what files need to be removed after uninstalling to get a truly fresh install? Everything else works fine.
Thanks
Phil Doomen
