[Planner] install planner 0.11

Hiya

I'm trying to install planner 0.11
When I run ./configure it say that pkg-config isn't install so I downloaded pkg-config0.15 ran ./configure make and then make install.

I also did a make check to confirm that things would be ok.

However I still get pkg-config isn't installed after run ./configure again.

I ran everything as root.
This is all on suse pro 9.1

Does anyone have any ideas?
I'm quite willing to admit my linux knowledge is still very small.
