[Planner] Over Allocation of Resources

Hi There.

I am a bit new to Planner.  I am using 0.12.1
I am having a bit of problem in that Planner is over allocating resources.  

Ex. If resources GM has to unrelated tasks, each of which are one day in length then Planner seems to schedule them on the same day.
Is there a way, without linking the tasks, that I can have planner schedule only core working hours, as defined in the calendar?
