For now I will review and commit the patches you send in. We'll follow the usual Gnome process, which is more or less described at http://live.gnome.org/NewAccounts and at http://live.gnome.org/AccountPolicy. This basically means that once a reasonable number of patches from you have made it into the repository and you have worked with us for a while, we will be able to judge if you would be an asset to the team (i.e. you provide good quality code, you're not going to break the build every second commit, you don't have an abrasive personality, that sort of thing). After that you will request an account and get commit access to subversion.
