| I just want to know what Gnome is doing to fix the problem of pixelated portions of the task bars and screens with the Additional AMD/ATI graphics drivers. Every distribution of Linux with the Gnome shell and Gnome3 desktop as well as Cinnamon I have tried has resulted, once I have installed these drivers, with a pixelated task bar or bars on the desktop. When will there be a permanent fix to this? It would seem to me that if Gnome is going the way of Unity, in a matter of speaking, they would at least fix this chronic problem. It is such a pity because I cannot use Gnome3, Gnome shell, or Cinnamon because of this. I would really like to. THANK YOU for your time and consideration. Jon Valentine |
