Hi Michael,

Since you've been hacking on gconf performance, and I'm looking into login
performance in general, maybe we can start a conversation here on the list,
hopefully enticing others into patching here and there too.

You said you have lots more ideas re how to speedup gconf [1].  Can you share? :)
