Gucharmap search performance

Hi Behnam,

Since you've been working on gucharmap recently, and the search
feature in gucharmap is so slow, I like to suggest you take a
look at optimizing that.  That's a good start to join the
optimization team in fact :).


CCing performance-list that you can report your progress.  To
start, you can run sysprof, launch gucharmap, perform a few
searches, profile that to see where's the time being spent...
