gnome-love is for helping the newcomers, and outreach-list is intended for making plans about our outreach efforts. These include gnome-love, GSoC, GCI, women outreach, and can include other types of outreach (e.g. student outreach with on-campus events). It would probably be easier to follow the messages on these lists if you know that one is for helping activity and another one for wider planning activity.
