At least on UEFI, I'm noticing that blscfg.mod is not included in
grubx64.efi so that means GRUB can't read ostree BLS snippets
directly. Instead there's a 15_ostree which uses
+ exec ostree admin instutil grub2-generate
While blscfg.mod is available on BIOS installations, it appears it
isn't used at all, and the same 15_ostree pulls in the BLS format
drop-in files to grub.cfg proper.
I'm not seeing any new blscfg patches since the original in jan 2013,
so I'm going to guess that it's abandoned for now, at least until
there's better consensus on the spec portion of BootLoaderSpec and
probably also upstream GRUB support? If that hypothetic pie in the sky
were to materialize, would ostree consider dropping 15_ostree in favor
of in-GRUB BLS support?
