Re: [orca-list] Firefox Inaccessible in Ubuntu 22.04 (GNOMEedition).

I filed a bug against Firefox for Ubuntu 21.10. They told me that I needed to file a bug against the snap
package. I guess, from what I understand, snap packages do not have access to the AT – SP I stack. If someone
else wants to say that this affects them, be my guest. The more of us who file, and say that were affected,
the better for getting this fixed. I hope everyone had a great Monday!

I replaced the snap version of firefox with the one from apt, and it's accessible again. Need to file a
bug against the snap firefox.

I find that firefox is inaccessible on Ubuntu 22.04, GNOME edition. The issue may have someting to do
with how it was packaged in snap? Thunderbird is accessible in that edition. Was it installed from snap
or apt? If snap, what was done differently from when firefox got packaged? How does user check this
kind of thing?

Have you tried installing it from the dpkg package rather than from the Snap store, and testing its
accessibility from there? If the dpkg package is accessible, but the Snap version isn't, then I suppose
you should write a bug report to Ubuntu.

I don't use Ubuntu, so my ability to help is limited.
