Re: [orca-list] Strange behaviour on a website

Hey Peter and Jean-Philippe.

For me, in Chrome, I see a button that looks like a play button. When I arrow to it, Orca is saying "link" without "Ecouter." I will look into that missing presentation momentarily. That's potentially an Orca bug.

In the meantime, I have to concur with what Peter stated about it being a potential addon issue. Because when I loaded the page in Firefox, visually, there is just whitespace where the play button should be. Orca's not skipping it; it isn't there for anyone. So it's probably a bug, but not an accessibility bug. <insert shrug here>

Hello,

To me it appears as the site or underlying audio player acts differently with Chromium than Firefox.

With Chromium I can recognize the link saying Ecouter, with Firefox it's not there.

I guess this might be a podpress wordpress addon issue.

Greetings

Peter

Hi,

On this page, I expect to have a "Play" button to run the HTML5 audio player.

Instead, I have the podcast time, and only the button to hide or display the player. On chrome I see everything, not Firefox. Should I report on Firefox? Or does Orca avoid the player for some reason?

Best regards
